Full Job Description
Overview:
This position will fill the role of a DIRECTV Digital Virtual Assistant Product Manager that implements online solutions for Sales, Service, and Support. This Product Manager (PM) will be responsible for building a roadmap that addresses customers’ issues within the Virtual Assistant (VA). The PM will also be responsible to understand what APIs and capabilities exist and help determine what authenticated and personalized services need to be built in in the VA in order to deliver on a great customer experience; transforming our Digital footprint from a navigational experience to a conversational experience. The PM will work closely with other Product Managers to prioritize what scope needs to be delivered and by when. The PM will also help drive the best technology to provide a superb experience. This PM will be responsible to understand what different channels are doing to support our customers and building connective tissue to those channels to offer up Digital solutions, with linkage to our IVR and Agent communities. Lastly, this PM will look to continuously optimize and improve the VA to ensure the best results for our customers and the company.
This position can be located in other cities around the United States as a remote position.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Managing existing assigned products, setting objectives, reporting performance, and responding to customer feedback
- Developing measures for evaluating products and applications, including profitability, market penetration, and usage
- Partnering with Field Marketing and Sales to ensure product growth
- Participating in the development of market plans, creation of sales collateral, and training.
- Teaming with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and IT on sales support systems, processes, ad creation, billing, and customer care.
- Consulting with sales and marketing to identify and prioritize market needs based on revenue value, market share, and competitive threat
- Managing quality assurance processes associated with print and internet products
Qualifications – External
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Product Management, Engineering, or Information Technology
- Three or more years in product or project development
- Strong analysis, organizing, and planning skills
- Strong technical skills and working knowledge of APIs and micro-services
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and persuade others
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)
Desired Qualifications:
- Three or more years of information technology experience
- One or more years experience in a management or leadership role
- Knowledge of company policies, sales and service operations, and departmental functions
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Our Sr Product Management & Development Mgrs earn between $95,500.00 – $190,900.00
